You enter the north-eastern room. This one-person bedroom shows many signs of having been lived in. The bed itself is rumpled and unmade, and a half-eaten meal of bread and smoked salmon sits on the nightstand. A few articles of dirty clothing sit at the foot of the bed.

"This is like buying real estate. Let's move on, shall we?"

Shara looks at the others, awaiting answers.

"I had hoped they would put signs up, alas, we're doomed to wonder corridor after corridor." Jack opens the door to the west.

[Admin]

This large chamber seems to serve a dual purpose. To the north is a fine bed with silk sheets, while to the south, a desk and chair under a hanging lantern make a comfortable-looking study.

[Morbus Mortem Apparatus]

"Real estate, indeed." Morbus mumbles as he looks around for curiosities not really knowing what real estate is.

Jack looks throught he desk.

[Admin]

The desk contains some basic writing supplies; pen, parchment and ink. It doesn't appear to hold anything of interest.

"Nothing here. Let's try another room." Jack opens the door a bit back

Meanwhile, Shara opens the other door next to it.

The door to the west reveals a short corridor with a door at the far end. What a shock.

As Shara opens the door to the south, she is greeted by a very strange sight. Dozens of ratty cushions, lumpy pillows, and rumpled dogskin furs lie heaped in the south half of this chamber, which smells of a nauseating mixture of vinegar and rotten flowers. A large bugbear lies sprawled on the furs and pillows, and he appears to be covered in female goblins.

'Oh Bruthazmus,' one of the goblins says in a guttural voice obviously supposed to sound seductive. 'You's so strong an' mighty.'

The bugbear chuckles and begins to respond when he spots Shara. His eyes widen in alarm and he surges to his feet, spilling nearly naked goblin women everywhere.

"Hey look guys, a corrido- oh what the?"

"What the hell?" Shathys blurts out.

Spoiler:

Bruthazmus moves with incredible speed and ferocity, producing a pair of wicked-looking serrated swords from beneath one of the pillows and charging straight at Morbus. One of his swords rips across Morbus' metal face, showering sparks across both combatants, and the force of the blow sends Morbus reeling into the corner. Bruthazmus spins on the spot, his other sword hitting Shara. Its serrated edges catches on her clothes and sends her stumbling into the middle of the room, straight into the arms of a swarm of murderous goblin women.

'Git away from him, you hussy!' one of the scantily clad goblins screech, and the swarm descends on Shara. They surge over her in a flurry of knives, nails and sharp teeth, knocking her to the ground and practically trying to rip her apart in a jealous rage. The goblins who can't get at Shara take out their fury on Shathys and Jack. Their weapons are too feeble to pierce Jack's armor, but Shathys is knocked to the ground with an impressive set of scratch marks across his face.

"Oh what fresh hell is this!?" Shathys shrieks.

Then, recovering his composure, and coughing to restore any lost manliness, he stands up and draws his spiked chain.

Lashing out against the swarm, He manages to hit a few of the goblin ladies. Though, given the quantity of goblin bodies in a small room, it would be a feat not to hit anything.

"Kill the goblin wenches before they swarm us! I'll keep the big fat whoreson busy!" Jack yells out.

[Admin]

'Y'all got no sense of dignity,' Reta says and rolls her eyes at the goblin wives. She raises her hands and sends a shower of thorns into the packed mass of goblin bodies. Every thorn finds a target, and all in all the attack seems super effective.

"By all that is holy, I did NOT expect that to happen!" Shara grunts from the floor.

Shara takes a few deep breaths and seems much less hurt that before. She looks at the angry goblin "women". "This is.. kind of pathetic, you thinking i'd do anything to THAT." She looks at Bruthazmus with disgust. She knocks the end of her staff against the floor, still lying on the ground. Two large bursts of flames consumes both Bruthazmus and the females.

Jack sidesteps and uses the movement to get extra power behind his swing at the bugbear. The attack lands and the bugbear's armor is slightly worn down. Jack clenches his fist and you can see almost invisible threads tighten around the bugbear and the goblins.

[Morbus Mortem Apparatus]

Morbus swings his blade towards Bruthazmus, but the armor seems to be too thick to penetrate properly. Morbus leaves nothing but a small mark on the armor.

Bruthazmus whirls on the spot, and while Morbus and Jack manages to avoid his first attacks, the power behind them knocks their own weapons out of the way of the second attacks. Both Jack and Morbus are wounded, and Jack stumbles towards the swarm of goblins.

The swarm is burned by the cloak of flame surrounding Shara, and the few goblins that remain standing throw themselves at Jack, stabbing crude daggers into the chinks of his armor. They come away red with blood.

"Ladies, Ladies, There's enough of me to go around." Shathys growls, before disappearing in a thick cloud of mist, Near-blinding everything around. From the darkness, shadows move, A scrape of talons here, the snapping of a predator's jaws there, Lashing out at a frightening speed, Shathys' blade licks deep gashing wounds into the Goblin Concubines, dropping them one at a time, the only giveaway a flash of light and a gurgle as the spiked chain strikes home, when at last, none remain, a voice from the darkness growls.

"We come for you, Bruthazmus." The voice fades as a blade strikes out, slashing across Bruthazmus' chest and arms, Nothing lethal, but meant to cause pain.

The thorns in the dead goblins erupt into small, yellow flowers, and a phantom wind flows through the room. The flower petals are carried by the wind, and as they settle on your skin, some of your wounds are healed.
