Shathys swims blindly forward, wet and freezing, trying to focus on keeping his limbs moving correctly. "Investigate the ghost of a serial killer they said. It's safe they said."

Ten minutes later, you can barely see the torch behind you in the distance. The water's surface is completely still except for your own movements, and the only sound is your own breathing. Roll an Endurance check.

Whether it's adrenaline, fear or something of the like keeping Shara going is really impossible to tell. What is very much visible though; is the apparent lack of exhaustion in the young girl swimming in dark water in a demonic magic door of doom.
