After quickly packing up her stuff and making sure the "camp" didn't leave any unnecessary stress on the environment, Shara follows the guys

[Admin]

Having already made the trip once, it is a fairly trivial matter to do it again. After a little climbing, you're back on Junker's Edge.

[SigneGT]

"So what now?"

[Le kek]

"Still a day or two 'til the ranger arrives. I don't like waiting around. Maybe we can scout the outskirts of the village or perhaps look into Pazuzu in the church." Jack says, fiddling with his left vambrace.

[Francis]

"I would not like to stray away from you two, I feel that we may be connected together in something larger than what we see before us." Shathys shrugs. "But right now, may we go back to the inn? I want to check up on Mishka and speak to the Inkeeper."

[Le kek]

"I don't think anything else will attack us in the village, we can split up for now and meet back up at the inn, I have a couple of things I need to take care of as well."

[SigneGT]

"I'll join you Shathys. I'd like to take a bath and wash dead ravens and blood off me".

Shara looks at her clothes with disgust in her face.

Osmus crawls on top of her head and says "Why would you do that Shara? I think you smell wonderful!".

"it's settled then, let's meet at the inn at noon." Jack then strolls down towards the blacksmith.

[Admin]

Jack, you quickly find your way to the local blacksmith. Tools, oils, a fireplace, an anvil and several other things are arranged under a roof supported by six wooden poles. The place has no walls. An old sign hanging from a metal hook names the place as "Red Dog Smithy", and you can just make out a faded illustration of a red dog. As you approach, a pair of large red mastiffs raise their heads from where they had been lounging. The blacksmith himself is standing deeper within his smithy with his back to you, outlined by the glowing coals in front of him. Sounds of metal on metal ring out.

[Francis]

Shathys arrives at the inn, searching for Mishka and the innkeeper. "Here Mishka, where are you?" Shathys calls out.

[Admin]

Shathys, as you open the door to the inn, you are met by a very happy Mishka. Ameiko, the innkeeper, is standing behind the counter with a cup of coffee held in both hands. She smiles at you as you enter. 'Oh good,' she says, 'You're back. I was getting a little worried that you had run into more trouble than you could handle.'

[Le kek]

"Good doggies." Jack says to the mastiffs, standing still. He raps his knuckles on the door frame. "Hello?"

Having followed Shathys to the inn, Shara passes the happy dog and owner reunion and finds a comfy chair.

"That was ... More than intense." she sighs. "I could use substantial food, what do you have Ameiko?"

[Admin]

Jack:
'What do you want?' the blacksmith asks without turning or pausing his work. His voice is deep and rough, and you detect a faint slur in his words. Perhaps he has been drinking.

Shathys and Shara:
'Anything you can think of, love, and more besides,' Ameiko says. 'Mundo is a wizard in the kitchen. Literally. Foodomancy.'

"I need you to make something for me. After close contact with gigantic claws I can safely say a sabre isn't enough to block incoming attacks. It'll require some finesse, are you a bad enough dude for the job?"

[Admin]

The blacksmith takes the white-hot piece of metal he's been working, and dunks it in a barrel of water with a hiss of cooling metal and a cloud of steam. After removing a pair of thick gloves, he finally turns to face you. As he steps out of the shadows, you realize that you can recognize him. A bald and powerfully muscled man with a pair of impressive mutton chops adorning his cheeks. He is almost identical to Katie's father from the vision, except for a few subtle differences. Instead of the strong, clear eyes of his past, his are sunken and bloodshot - probably from too much drink and too little sleep -, and his scraggly beard is unkempt and flecked with grey.

'A shield?' he asks.

[Le kek]

Jack just stares for a few seconds before regaining his composure. "Err, yes. A shield, but I have an idea." Jack explains what he wants, a retractable shield that folds out from his left vambrace with the push of a button, and draws a few sketches.

[Francis]

"Come here, girl!" Shathys calls happily as Mishka bounds over to him, stroking the shaggy dog's fur, Shathys looks up to the Innkeeper. "Didn't give you too much trouble did she?"

[Admin]

The blacksmith just nods and picks up the sketches. 'Come back in six hours,' he says and walks back to his forge.

Shathys:
'She wasn't too happy about being left behind,' Ameiko says. 'But after I gave her some venison, she mellowed. No trouble at all.'

[Le kek]

Jack thanks the Smith and heads for the inn.

[Admin]

And then you're at the inn.

[Le kek]

Jack nods at the innkeeper as he enters.
"Friends... The smith is the father of the girl back in the other dimension. He might be able to help us deal with this." Jack looks thoughtful, frowning and a hand on his chin.

[Admin]

Ameiko raises an imaginary hat as a greeting to Jack.

[Francis]

Shathys raises an eyebrow. "That's interesting, I say we talk to the fellow, though it may raise some unpleasant memories. What say you?"

Mishka sits on her haunches gnawing on Shathys' hand playfully.

[Le kek]

"And what do we say to him? That we unwittingly trapped his girl's spirit with a psychotic entity of Pazuzu?"
Jack sits down while he talks and orders an ale.
